First Attempt: Mango Pudding

Mom brought some mangoes for me when she was here in KL with my Dad, baby sister and uncle. She brought green apples for me too which I have yet to open yet. Mangoes ripe damn fast so I need to eat it before it goes rotten. Instead of putting it to waste, I use those mangoes to make Mango Pudding.

I had 20 cents to try out the very FIRST box of Mango Pudding I made. He said it was alright but I could add a bit of sugar into it. Too sweet not good for health ah. I was in denial. I put a little more water than it supposed to be. Overall, it turned out great. Gonna try making it again until I perfected the PERFECT taste of Mango Pudding.

Nona Mango Pudding powder

I cheated and used powder to make the pudding. Just follow the instruction behind the box and I made Mango Pudding. How hard can it be right? I used Nona brand by the way. That's the brand that my Mom always use. I assumed that's the best brand I could find?

Ingredients for pudding
Nona Mango Pudding powder, 2 glasses of water and fresh mangoes chilled and diced

How?
1) Wash and cut the mangoes into dices.
2) Spread the fresh mangoes evenly in a container.
3) Meanwhile, boil 2 glasses of water in a pot.
4) Once the water boils, add in the mango pudding powder.
5) Stir well until the powder dissolves.
6) Then, pour the liquid into the container.
7) Let it cool down before putting it into the fridge.
8) Chill for a couple of hours before serving it.

All done!

Chilled and cut

It's yummylicious

Looks gross but it's damn good!

It tasted alright from a beginner like myself. Gonna try again and again until I perfected the perfect mango pudding. Next thing, I think I will try to make Konyaku Jelly :)

konyaku jelly easy, just buy the pack of mixture. you can add in your favourite fruits (try not to add too much citrus fruits)
